During the Sept. 22 Town Hall meeting, featuring CDRH Director Jeff Shuren and senior Center management, Catalyst President Nancy Bradish Myers will present recommendations for CDRH on facilitating and promoting innovation.
CDRH’s objective for this meeting is to engage in a dialogue about issues that are of importance to the public. In her presentation, Ms. Myers will urge CDRH to take several steps to improve the perception of the Center among stakeholders and those who are making investments in product development in the device space. These steps include first recognizing the impact of the Center’s policies on innovation, and then making cultural changes within the Center, including developing a creative program to incentivize reviewers to think progressively about regulatory review of products.
